Automobile Dacia, Renault Commercial Roumanie to join ACAROM

Automobile Dacia, Renault Commercial Roumanie, the company that sales brands Dacia, Renault and Nissan in Romania, announced in an official letter, on 3 February, its decision to give up its Association of Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association (APIA) membership. Instead, their interests will be represented by The Association of Automotive Manufacturers of Romania (ACAROM).

In their new status of ACAROM members, Automobile Dacia and Renault Commercial Roumanie will continue to support programs that target the increase of the national market of new vehicles.

The objective is to ease access of Romanian clients to purchase new and performant cars and reduce the number of cars that pollute, which represent a real danger for the environment, but also for safety on the road.

The priority of Automobile Dacia and Renault Commercial Roumanie is to offer the national market good quality, modern vehicles at an accessible price, but also to contribute to the renewal of the car park. They will strengthen support for ACAROM with activities to which contribute over 16,000 employees in Romania. One of the priorities is to maintain the industrial capacity of local providers for the car industry, activities of dealers and of their employees, the over 150,000 people whose experience is very important for ACAROM.

Automobile Dacia şi Renault Commercial Roumanie will continue to promote the best practices to develop the car market.
