Ardaf reports RON 9 million profit for the first half of the year

Insurer Ardaf has reported a RON 9 million profit for the first half of this year, and total subscribed premiums worth RON 141 million. Travel insurances abroad increased in volume by 254.5 percent, insurances for railroad transport grew by 98.8 percent, while general civil liability insurances went up by 11.2 percent.

In the first half of this year, the company continued the process of portfolio diversification and increased the size of its fire and natural disaster insurances from 4.8 percent to 5.3 percent of its total portfolio. CASCO insurances represent 33 percent of its portfolio, while general civil liability insurances stand at 2.7 percent of the portfolio.
