APS Holding becomes creditor of Armonia shopping center in Braila

APS Holding, together with other international investors, has become creditor of the commercial center “Armonia” from Braila, after taking over a package of non-performing loans (NPLs) from a bank, following negotiations concluded at the end of 2016. The shopping center was valued at over EUR 14 million.

The center was opened in 2008 and comprises a commercial center in the form of a mall and an under-ground parking with around 2,100 lots, on a surface of 41,840 sqm built, while the total land controlled by the owner stood at 197,554.95 sqm.

The property will benefit from a leasable area of 29,500 sqm, with supermarkets area, commercial gallery and restaurants, furniture, offices, heating and ventilation system, electric generator and network system.

„The Armonia mall from Braila was one of the main guarantees, as well as nominal value and notoriety, that we were obliged to manage after the developer’s bankruptcy. Our professionals proved once more that the experience and skills in an asset capitalization and this thing raises the trust level of our partners and our possible partners in our expertise,” said Robert Machidon, general manager of APS Romania.
