Anca Rarau becomes advisor to BCR head Sergiu Manea

BCR, controlled by Austrian Erste Group, has announced that Anca Rarau, the executive marketing director, will become the advisor of the bank’s president, Sergiu Manea.

Rarau will relocate to Cluj, her hometown, and Ionut Stanimir, the bank’s communications director, will also ensure the interim coordination of the marketing division.

Rarau has over 20 years’ worth of experience in marketing, joining BCR in the autumn of 2012. Throughout her career she coordinated large-scale projects and obtained, together with the teams under her leadership, distinctions and awards for the effectiveness of campaigns launched, including marketing strategies and initiatives that have been premieres to the market.

A graduate of Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj, Faculty of Economics, with an EMBA at the National Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers in Paris and a master of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Rarau will continue to work in the areas of brand strategy and advisory.
