Alcatel Lucent appoints two Romanians in regional positions

Alcatel-Lucent has appointed Iulian Costea, 34, as marketing director of the Middle East and Africa, based in Abu Dhabi.

 Costea has been working in Alcatel Romania as project manager while in December 2004 he became part of the marketing department. Two years later, he was promoted as marketing manager for South Eastern Europe and in March last year he also took responsibility for the countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States and Northern Europe. 

 The company also promoted Catalina Ochesila as director of the Marketing, Strategy and Communication department for Romania and South-Eastern Europe.
