Adrian Vasiliu has been appointed general manager of Europharm Distributie. Previous to his appointment, the position was held for six months by Viorel Vodita, in parallel with his marketing manager job, to which he is now returning.
Throughout his career, Vasiliu held various senior management roles. After 13 years with Procter& Gamble, he was country manager for Romania and Cyprus with Diageo. Over the last four years he ran Algerian distribution company Star Brands & Star Goods.
The 40 year old graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Europharm Distribution is part of GSK Romania. It has been active on the local market for over 20 years. The company has two divisions: the Direct Distribution Division, which retails a portfolio of over 3,500 products and the Logistics Services Division, which provides pharmaceuticals manufacturers and providers with storage, billing, transport, delivery and logistics services.
