Adrian Stanciu was appointed the new CEO of Smartree Romania. Previously, Stanciu was Corporate Finance Director in Smartree and coordinated the transaction for the takeover of the company by the capital venture fund EVF I Investments administered by Enterprise Investors.

Following the transaction, the fund supplied Smartree with expansion capital for the development of new business lines such as services for staff recruitment and temporary work.

The new CEO said he aims to bring the company to “spectacular growth” over the next year. “As market leaders, our intention is to consolidate this position and expand the range of services we offer to our clients. We wish to become the first option for any company in Romania that intends to outsource salary and personnel administration services and temporary work, “said Stanciu.

The new CEO of Smartree, aged 34, started his career in the United States in 1999 as part of Merrill Lynch, the largest investment bank in the world, and then as a member of the Mississippi State Treasury. Before joining Smartree, he worked as Senior Associate Corporate Finance in Deloitte and as a Corporate Department Manager and member of the administration board of SSIF IEBA Trust. He was also a member of the admission board for the listing of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and offered consultancy for management in a series of privatization cases. He also offered counseling to national companies in financing projects.
