Actavis appoints new country manager

Dan Ivan is the new country manager of the Romanian subsidiary of Actavis. He is replacing Alina Cucea who was appointed deputy country manager. Ivan has over 18 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, 16 of which were spent with Sanofi-Zentiva.

“Through the appointment of Dan Ivan in this position, the Actavis Group wants to send a strong message to all its stakeholders: Actavis is confident in its local development plans and the management team’s ability to manage the industry’s present challenges  which are caused by the financial crisis, the volatility of the regulatory environment and the aggressive growth in the generic pharmaceuticals competition,”  said company representatives.
