A&D Pharma posts EUR 355 million in sales

The pharmacies division under the Sensiblu brand has seen a 41 percent increase in its turnover during this period on its RON results, while in EUR, the turnover grew by 22 percent to EUR 135.7 million. The growth in revenues was due to the focus on consolidating sales in existing units and to the end of thresholds imposed for each pharmacy, the company has said. A&D Pharma runs 220 pharmacies in Romania. The firm expects the legislation applicable to the local pharma business to get tougher in the coming period, due to several emergency measures imposed by the government, meant to increase the funds of the national health system.
