We are moving towards a world of robots and chatbots, virtual assistants that every employee may have to help with mundane tasks, like daily reports. Digital transformation becomes imperative, as Raluca Remerita, Sales Director at Druid, said at Business Review’s Working Romania event.

”For sales, face-to-face interaction is very important, but we have adapted to the new conditions. In Druid we had to have two different roles. The first is the employee role, in which we were quite independent anyway and we were able to move easily with the activity at home. We make a lot of phone calls, we try to stay as connected as possible. In addition to the position of employee, we also have the role of technology provider, of digitalization tools,” said Resemerita.

”And what I noticed throughout this period was that there is more and more talk about digital transformation. A context that favored us because that’s what we do at Druid, we offer digitization solutions so that employees can be more creative, not waste their time with repetitive tasks,” explains Resemerita.

Mobility is another important thing for employees and companies these days. It is important not to depend on a laptop, a desktop or an office, but to have all information you need on any devices, including a smartphone. The business must continue sustainably in order to get through this crisis well. Digital transformation becomes imperative. Companies understood and technology was a main topic in all discussions of the crisis cells.

”As a manager, you must always have all the tools at your disposal so that you have an overview of the company, from employees to customers. We at Druid focused on this agility and speed of reaction so that we can offer our customers chatbots made for these moments of crisis. Whether we are talking about HR, admin or employee requests, it mattered that we quickly adapted and adopted new technologies, such as electronic signatures,” says Resmerita.

For example, a HR person need to send documents for which the recipient is no longer needed in the office, now it is enough to send them online, with an electronic signature.

”Druid’s mission is to create a virtual assistant for each employee in the company, to provide the information you would ask from a colleague. It can help you with reminders, including for timekeeping, for simple things that you overlook. It can even remind you to take a break,” says Resmerita. ”Clients have seen these things and I am proud to say that 90% of the projects started from HR people. Tools such as chatbots or RPA robots are welcome aids in employee work.”

Mobility can also translate into chatbots present on social media platforms or elsewhere, to work as a colleague who helps you with useful information. Chatbots have applications in any department, from HR to legal, IT or sales.

”The Druid platform, in addition to allowing customers to create an unlimited number of chatbots, was also awarded in Berlin, winner of a chatbot competition, a validation of the technology we offer customers. Among the HR projects we have done, there are also those for processes such as holiday scheduling, which save a lot of staff work. Or the project developed for Banca Transilvania, those who now build their own virtual assistants on the Druid platform,” explains Raluca Resmerita.
