Tiberiu Soare now conducts entire Bucharest National Opera

The Romanian conductor Tiberiu Soare was recently announced as the interim general director of the most prestigious opera house of Romania, Bucharest National Opera.

”From April 4, 2016, the conductor Tiberiu Soare will provide the interim leadership of Bucharest National Opera during the suspension of Razvan Ioan Dinca, according to an order issued by the Minister of Culture,” the official press release says.

Between 2005 and 2013, Tiberiu Soare was the chief conductor at the Bucharest National Opera. After, between 2012 – 2015, he held the post of chief conductor of the Radio Orchestras and Choirs Romania.

On June 22, 2015, Razvan Ioan Dinca has been sent to face trial under probation for charges of professional abuse, forgery and conflicts of interest. The investigation is still ongoing.
