This weekend in Bucharest: Philharmonic “George Enescu” concert

On Thursday and Friday on the Romanian Atheneum takes place the symphonic concert of philharmonic “George Enescu” from 7 PM to 9 PM. The conductor will be Salvador Mas-Conde and the soloist will be Stan Zamfirescu. The program comprises the suite no.2 from Tricorn ballet, the concert from Aranjuez for guitar and orchestra and the symphony no.1 in do minor, op.68. Also, on Sunday from 10 AM to 12:30 PM the Atheneum hosts the show “Classic is fantastic- how to understand music” held by the band Lupus Dacus, with the musicians Andrei Mot, Marcel Sapcu, Cristian Sapcu, Petrica Turcu and Maria Luisa Sapcu. In the program are the traditional songs from the medieval repertory from Romania, Mecedonia, Italy, Portugal, France, Serbia and Bulgaria.
