Rompetrol Rafinare names new economic director

Vasile-Gabriel Manole has been appointed as the new economic director of Rompetrol Rafinare starting April 11. He is replacing Giani-Iulian Kacic, who will manage the optimization and efficiency projects of the company.

Manole has previously worked as economic director of Oilfield Exploration Business Solutions and Rompetrol Well Services.

He was the economic director of Rompetrol Rafinare between 2010 and 2013.

The Ministry of Energy has a 44.7 percent stake in the company, while KMG International holds 44.1 percent of the shares. The rest is free float on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
