Romanian PVC maker Teraplast submits request for state aid worth RON 65.6 mln

The PVC producer Teraplast aims to expand its capacities, therefore it requested a state aid worth RON 65 million to invest in its production capacities. The amount will be used to acquire machineries and for production halls building.

Teraplast Bistrita (TRP) submitted on Monday the request file to the Public Finance Ministry for the project „Development of production activity Teraplast SA through the acquisition of new machineries, including the constructions of affiliated buildings” from the Industrial Park Teraplast Bistrita-Nasaud.

In the first six months of the year, Teraplast group obtained revenues of RON 192.76 million, with 17.46 percent above the level of RON 164.11 million from the similar period of the last year, while the net profit registered RON 19.06 million, up 52.22 percent versus the same period of last year.

The company is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since 2007 and its main shareholder is the businessman Dorel Goia, with a 46.77 percent stake.
