Tech retailer QuickMobile has announced plans to expand its footprint in Romania with six new stores in franchise, which will be inaugurated by the end of this year across several important Romanian cities.

The first cities where new tech retail units will be opened will be Sibiu, Brasov, Oradea, Pitesti, Ploiesti and Targu-Mures.

Next year, Craiova, Arad, Alba Iulia, Bacau, Galati, Focsani, Piatra Neamt, Buzau, as well as Bucharest will follow suit and have new QuickMobile stores.

The company has a strategic plan to expand its tech retail unit internationally to consolidate its position in European technology retail over the next years.

“The best expansion solution for a business is collaborating with some partners for developing the company, who are much more motivated than employees, This is why we have chosen to develop our network in franchise, after a model that was tested over the last 12 years and the certainty of success for franchisees,” said Cosmin Cosma, director of the QuickMobile franchise network.

The franchisee will have independence and freedom to make decisions. QuickMobile will offer the product stocks, access to an international network of suppliers, having access to products shortly after launch.

The franchisee must cover the franchise tax and refurbish the store, cover 3 months’ rent for the space and the marketing expenses for launching the new QuickMobile unit on the market.

“The QuickMobile franchise mainly targets young entrepreneurs with medium or higher education, who are fond of phones and gadgets, but also knowledgeable of the market- experience in retail and management being a plus,” said Cosma.
