Petre Bunescu leaves BRD – Societe Generale after 20 years, to be replaced by Mihai Tiberiu Salagean

Petre Bunescu, deputy CEO at Banca Romana de Dezvoltare – Groupe Societe Generale will leave the bank in March, according to a press release from the company. He has been in this position since 1999.

“Mr. Petre Bunescu will cease his mandate as Deputy Finance / Treasury Director as of 1 March 2019. The Board of Directors thanks Mr. Petre Bunescu for all his work as Deputy General Manager – Finance and Treasury,” says the announcement of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The board of directors decided to nominate Mihai Tiberiu Salagean as deputy CEO, but the appointment is subject to obtaining the approval by the National Bank of Romania and will become effective starting with the date of issuance of the approval.
