New VAT registration form in Romania to be enforced starting August

The new VAT registration form D088 was published in the Romanian Official Gazette on Friday and will be put into practice in August.

The document includes a series of changes compared to the preceding version. The two most important changes in the registration form are the reduction in the number of documents that need to be attached from 11 to 4 and the appearance of new questions that require detailed information.

The Vat registration form draft was put into public debate last month in a simplified way, according to the National Agency of Fiscal Administration (ANAF) and the final version will be applied 15 days after its publication, according to profit.ro.
