A group of 9 Romanian entrepreneurs developed an innovative product on the Romanian market with the launch of Lite App, a mobile application of the marketplace type for service reservations and which has dual functionality, B2C and B2B. In the first phase of the project, they invested 200,000 euros and will get another round of investments of up to one million euros. Lite App is available, free of charge, in Google Play and the App Store, but can also be downloaded from the liteapp.co website.

The application development phase lasted about 9 months, followed by an extended beta testing period earlier this year. LiteApp is already used by over 1,000 users in Bucharest and includes the services offered by 60 businesses in the area of car (laundry), beauty and dentistry, and users will have available, in a very short time, yoga services, therapy and coaching, but also sports fields.

“The idea of business arose from a personal need, which I later identified as generally valid in the context of the constantly moving world in which we live. Time is our most important resource, but we seldom have the same care that we have, for example, with our money. Thus, LiteApp helps users to have, in the same place, directly on the phone, all the appointments for the services they need in everyday life. With just 3 clicks, you have identified the provider you need, booked and paid online for the service you need. With LiteApp, users gain time and security when booking. We have had an extensive beta phase and we already have over 1,000 users. We hope to reach 15,000 accounts nationwide by December. At the same time, the application was developed to be functional worldwide, so we are considering such an extension “, says Pavel Stan, Strategy Manager within Lite App.

By the end of the year, the 9 entrepreneurs set out to further diversify their areas of interest with four more types of services and to expand the marketplace to three more large cities in Romania. Thus, over 400 companies would list their services in LiteApp by the end of 2021.

“The B2B component, which we intend to further upgrade in the second phase of the project, helps businesses to have more predictability, to streamline their work schedule and maximize revenue, but also to retain customers. . Moreover, it drives the launch of competitive products by listing in the app the special offers and reviews of service users, connected to the service they actually benefited from. In the summer, we aim to attract a new round of financing, up to one million euros, part of the funds will go to the expansion and development of the enterprise solution, which focuses on managing the internal resources of companies. For these, it is important to be able to offer them forecasts related to the flow of customers and the services they require, so that they can plan their business more efficiently. Also in this phase 2 of the project, we want to move to an open platform for partners “, explains Pavel Stan, Strategy Manager within Lite App.
