KFC opens EUR 680,000 restaurant in Cluj-Napoca

US Food Network which owns the local KFC franchise has opened a new restaurant in Cluj-Napoca following a EUR 680,000 investment. The company expects the new unit to generate EUR 900,000 worth of sales in the first year, US Food Network representatives have announced.

The restaurant is located on the Iuliu Maniu Blvd. and is the third unit opened so far in the city, in addition to the ones in the Polus Center and Iulius Mall shopping centers. It is also the third opened so far this year the other two being located in Arad and Iasi.

There are more than 40 KFC fast food restaurants in Romania. US Food Network is controlled by local businessman Gabriel Popoviciu.
