IAA Romania organizes the third edition of the Advertising Day

IAA Romania celebrates The Advertising Day on November 24. On this occasion, the organization plans to gather all the market players, including professionals in the marketing and communication industry and representatives of public institutions, in an event that will be moderated by Dragos Bucurenci.

The Advertising Day comprises four conferences debating topics related to the industry.

The first discussion will try to find out the aswer to the questions: Creativity is determined by the evolution of technology or the technology develops through creativity?, Does the technolkogy help send the message in the advertising campaigns? Moreover, the participants will talk about the similarities and differences between Romania and the rest of the Europe, from the creativity point of view and the technological development. The panel will be moderated by George Buhnici, producer ILikeIT. Among the speakers are Andrei Lascut ( owner The Temple), Edi Chereji (Marketing UNTOLD), Dragos Stanca (Fondator ICEEfest), Cristian Munteanu (entrepreneur and founder of Qalendra), Mikey Has (vlogger and founder Doza de Has), Bogdan Lupu (Head of Digital Marketing, Carrefour Romania).

“Education for marcomm/ The industry to rebecome attractive and performant aims to find solutions, alongside Mihai Coman (Prof. Dr., Dean FJSC), Ioana Popescu (Prof Dr., Dean at the University of Marketing, ASE Bucuresti), Dumitru Bortun (Prof Dr, Head of the Evaluation and Quality Insurance Comission, FCRP – SNSPA), Mihaela Ginju, (Executive Director at the Erudio Foundation) or Maria Predoiu (President IAA), that will put at the same table the academic field and the business environment. Moreover, Dan Petre, the panel moderator, (Partner D&D Research) will bring to the table the role of the agencies and advertising clients in the growth of the market, but also in the increase of the level of education.

The third panel, „Romania – Global Creative Hub”, moderated by Dragos Bucurenci (Communication Strategist), will challenge the participants (Tudor Giurgiu – director, founder TIFF), Mihnea Gheorghiu (Vice-President of ADC Romania & Creative Director at Publicis), Catalin Dobre (Creative Director at McCann Bucharest), Andrei Bortun (founder of Romanian Design Week, DIPLOMA) to answer the questions: How do we get from an execution industry to a concept industry?, How much and how do the festivals and awards help the growth of Romania’s visibility?, How is the Romanian creativity seen from London, Paris, Amsterdam, New York? How do you get ready for an award?, What do you do after you receive it?, How do we promote our values?

On the last topic, „Effie insight book”, Roxana Baias, president of the Organizing Committee of Effie 2016 will examine alongside her guests the changes in the this advertising competition. Among the speakers there will be Alexandra Iavorschi (Managing Partner Starcom Mediavest), Victor Stroe (Planning Director, Leo Burnett Bucharest), Diana Flutur (Managing Director, Owner MRI Research & Consulting / part of TheNetwork), Răzvan Mircea, (Marketing Director at STRAUSS Balkans).

The event will take place at Point, starting 9 AM.
