Geze Romania exceeded EUR 4 million turnover for the financial year 2017-2018, due to the strengthening of the company’s image and the growth of the construction market especially the office and commercial segments

“In the financial year 2017-2018 we succeeded in transforming challenges and special requests into successes, winning reference projects, contributing to our area of competence in raising the quality of implemented solutions, factors that contributed to the growth of business by about 15 percent compared to the previous year. The main challenges and difficulties we faced were the low volume of labor available on the construction market, its qualification level, but also the development of customized, complex solutions that involved a high consumption of resources, ” said Vlad Stanislav, managing director of Geze Romania.

The main business fields, with regard to large projects, both in terms of volume and complexity, remain large cities such as Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi. The company worked at The Bridge Offices, Lidl Headquarters Bucharest, Vox Offices Timisoara, Bega Offices Timisoara, Globalworth Campus, Riviera Cluj, Iasi, United Business Center 1 Timisoara, Shopping City Râmnicu Vâlcea, Hilton Bucharest etc.

For the financial year starting July 1, Geze Romania plans to increase its turnover by at least 10 percent, based on the high number of ongoing projects, on the diversification and expansion of the after-sales division activities, but and launching new products and technologies such as the Geze Cockpit system.

As regards the development of the Romanian construction market, the financial year 2019-2020 the company official thiks that will have to be approached with caution, taking into account a possible market contraction.

“We are seeing a growing caution of investment, especially foreign investment, due to prolonged political instability and lack of investment in infrastructure, which may cause a bottleneck, even temporary, of projects. The widespread problem of the Romanian construction sector, namely the labor crisis, has double negative effects on both investments and construction companies, by increasing the costs for employers that lower the appetite for local production and logistic capacities, “added Stanislav.
