Gebruder Weiss Romania continues the long-term partnership with P3 Logistic Parks

P3 Logistic Parks (P3) and Gebrüder Weiss Romania have signed the prolongation contract for 22,400 square meters of warehouse and office space in P3 Bucharest A1.

In 2017, they have extended their operations in the park by leasing an additional space of over 8,800 sqm, and now has decided to continue the long-term partnership with P3, by prolonging the leasing contracts for all 22,400 sqm occupied at the present moment. At the moment, Gebruder Weiss România network in the country has 9 logistics terminals and cross-docking in Bucharest, Arad, Sibiu, Cluj, Bacău, Brașov, Constanța, Oradea and Craiova. The service portfolio has extended in the last year, including at the present moment road transport, rail transport, airline and shipping, logistics and warehousing solutions.

Home Delivery Service launched in 2018 includes the delivery of online orders directly to the final consumer, mainly targeting furniture products, construction materials or electronics. This service includes the possibility of delivery in the evening or on Saturdays (in certain areas), to the interior of the house and handling the goods by teams of two people. In Romania, only through this Home Delivery Service, Gebruder Weiss made 50,000 transports in 2019.

P3 Bucharest A1 park is the largest multifunctional park in Bucharest, having 380,000 sqm developed in 14 warehouses and a land bank with potential of delivery 100,000 m2 within 8-12 months, direct access to A1, ring road and direct rail connection to the 4th pan European corridor. P3 Logistic Parks has acquired a 16-hectare site in Dragomiresti Vale, a prime logistic location on the North-West outskirts of Bucharest. A new 80,000 m2 logistics park – to be known as P3 Bucharest NW Ring Road – will be developed on this land. P3 Bucharest NW Ring Road has direct access to the newly extended Bucharest Ring Road and provides easy access to all parts of the Romanian capital, as well as the A1 and A3 highways.
