Gabriela Stănică was appointed since October as IT & Digital Chief Information Officer at Carrefour Romania. Her responsibility on this new position is to to continue the digital transformation process Carrefour is going through in Romania.
Among the IT & Digital objectives Gabriela and her team are managing, there are worth mentioning the consolidation of the digitalization and internal process automatization, new platforms’, and technologies’ implementation, aiming operational process optimization, the development of the website, applications and technologies that are essential to Carrefour’s omnichannel experience, but also informational protection.
Gabriela’s experience exceeded 10 years of creating and managing teams as part of different companies. Before joining the Carrefour team, she was Head of Marketing IT at British American Tobacco, where she coordinated teams from Europe and North Africa, after she previously was Chief Information Officer at Vodafone România. She started her career as part of the Avon team, where she filled different positions, among which the most important was IT Executive Director for Central and Eastern Europe.
