Metropolis Caravan 2018 – Outdoor Cinema – August 21-September 16, Titan Park
The best films released this year, as well as a selection of Romanian films, will be screened during the outdoor cinema event on the Arts Island in Titan Park. The films you’ll be able to see include: “Un beau soleil interior”, “Loving Vincent”, “The Square”, “Happy End”, “România neîmblânzită”, “Loveless”, “Au Revoir La-Haut”, “L’Atelier”, “In the Fade” and “Pororoca”.
Bucharest GreenSounds Festival 2018 – August 24-26 @ Herastrau Park
The fifth edition of Bucharest GreenSounds Festival brings eclectic music back to the capital for an entire weekend. Artists who will come up on the festival stage include: The Hives, UB40 featureing Ali Astro and Mickey, Ky-Mani Marley, Subcarpati Acoustic, Sofa Surfers, Club des Belugas, Implant pentru Refuz, Coma, Grimus, Omul cu Sobolani, ROA, The Amsterdams, Toulouse Lautrec, Mr. Jurjak, RoadkillSoda, The Kryptonite Sparks, NEXT EX, Basska, The Details, Valeria Stoica, Noru Negru, Veran Zorila, GUZ, K-lu, CS84. Entry is free and there’s also a food court.
LOTT Shop&Guests – August 25-26 @ Food Hood
The Lord of the Things pop-up store is happening again this weekend at Food Hood. The selection will include clothing, vinyls, furniture, accessories, rare finds and surprises, for both men and women. You are definitely going to find something you like!
Undercloud International Independent Theatre Festival – August 22-31 @ ARCUB-Gabroveni
Undercloud is the first and longest-living International Independent Theatre Festival in Romania, and is now at its 11th edition. Until August 31, ARCUB will provide the city with some cultural oxygen: plays, dance, performance, unique theatre events, Romanian and international cultural figures, parties and lots of artsy surprises.
