EUR 7 mln investment in 4 star hotel in Targu Mures

Opened as a family business at the end of last year, the Privo Hotel complex is the result of a EUR 7 million investment. Adina Plopeanu, the young entrepreneur behind the project, is organizing the official launch of the business, after a soft opening in October 2013.

The complex includes:

– Hotel Privo: 40 rooms, built in an innovative style,

– Vila Csonka: 6 rooms, built in an Art Nouveau Style.

Both buildings are placed in a park that covers an area of 3,500 square meters.

“The Privo project started 5 years ago based on the need for a new approach in the local touristic offer and a new concept designed to deliver exclusive services at international standards. It is a family business similar to the others we own and the results obtained so far indicate that next year we will have a EUR 900.000 turnover”, according to Adina Plopeanu.

The entrepreneur owns Construct Mapcom, office buildings and a logistics park in Targu Mures.

“For 2014 we want to achieve an occupation rate of 45 percent and a turnover of over EUR 700,000. From the soft opening in October 2013 we’ve noticed several opportunities for growth on the 4-star and 5-star market which we wish to take advantage of and become market leaders .For 2015 we estimated a 12-15 percent growth through consolidating the Privo Concept and promoting it at a national and international level”, according to Otilia Demian, director of business development for Privo.
