Cosmote Romania posted total revenues of EUR 468.8mln in 2010

Cosmote Romania posted total revenues of EUR 468.8 million for financial year 2010, ended December 31, as reported today by OTE Group, which represented a 7.2 percent growth on a y-o-y basis.

 Total customer base (including Zapp) reached 6.84 million at the end of 2010, which represented a 5.9 percent decrease. The postpaid ratio increased up to 21.9 percent, as result of the business segment growth.

 “We will continue to focus on the corporate and broadband segments and also on all core directions of the company, such as network enhancement, latest technologies, customer care and retail. At the same time, we will continue to expand the products and services portfolio to the benefit of the Romanian consumers”, said Konstantinos Apostolou, Chief Financial Officer Cosmote Romania.

 The company’s EBITDA amounted to EUR 73.7 million, which represents a 12.7 percent increase vs 2009.

 Cosmote Romania has a market share of 24 percent. Since its launch in 2005, the company invested nearly EUR 1 billion.
