Double-decker buses will help tourists cram more objectives into their busy schedules. According to municipal authorities, over 3200 tourists have enjoyed the view from the buses, which were inaugurated at the end of July.

Authorities that manage the special bus line pledge to introduce electronic guide facilities as well as informative brochures regarding the landmarks included in the bus circuit, in the following weeks.

The 15 kilometer tourist route is served by 4 double-decker buses with a capacity of 77 seats each. Bucharest City Tour has designated 14 bus stops where the most important landmarks are present: Peasant Museum, Victoria Palace, The Parliament Palace, The Bucharest Museum and Romanian Patriarchy. More destinations will be unveiled during the bus ride, as tickets for the tour are valid for 24 hours, which means that you can go sightseeing and hop on the bus for another landmark with no stress.

The Bucharest City Tour line is available between 10:00 – 22:00 and a double-decker will stop in the stations every 15 minutes, allowing tourists to see Bucharest in 50 minutes. The travel card is RON 25 for adults and RON 10 for children between the ages of 7 and 14. Children under 7 who are accompanied by an adult will get a free ride. The travel card is available for 24 hours from its first validation and can be bought from the double-decker buses.
