BT Securities becomes BT Capital Partners following acquisition

BT Securities (BTS), the brokerage part of financial group Banca Transilvania has rebranted itself as BT Capital Partners, months after taking over investment banking consultancy Capital Partners

BT Capital Partners gets the role of an exclusive member in Romania of M&A International, one of the biggest mergers at global level of independent firms from mergers and acquisitions field.

Through the transaction from March 2016, BT Securities took over the investment banking activity of Capital Partners company, a significant Romanian independent consultancy in the M&A  and corporate finance sectors.

BT Capital Partners offers the local companies with investment potential a range of specialized services: mergers and acquisitions consultancy or stock exchange listing, broker services, complex financial schemes structures and strategic management consultancy in the two operational centers from Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest. It also controls One United Properties, a real estate developer for residential projects in Bucharest.

Paul Prodan, BT Capital Partners President says that their clients “reacted very well at the BT Capital Partners foundation, which is the reason for we are confident that we have the potential to become soon leaders on the market on all the services range that we offers.”

Capital Partners was set up 10 years ago and has worked on deals with a combined value of more than EUR 2 billion.
