ANAF sees in July highest monthly revenue in history, of RON 26.8 bln

Tax administration agency ANAF said it collected RON 26.8 billion worth of taxes in July, the highest monthly revenue so far, and exceeded by RON 3 billion the cash plan of the Ministry of Finance.

Compared with July last year, the revenues raised by ANAF for the state are higher by RON 5 billion and as effect the deficit decreased from 1.6 percent last month to 1.3 percent. 

An ANAF document, presented by Profit.ro, shows that the institution achieved a record collection of RON 26.8 billion, the biggest revenue in history for ANAF. More than that, the revenues were overrun with RON 2.9 billion and the VAT collected registered the largest sum in history, RON 10.24 billion.

The fiscal year planned for July 2018 a program of budget revenues of RON 23.8 billion, according to the provisions of the budget laws. It managed to collect RON 26.8 billion, which is: 122.9 percent – nominal index (116.6 percent real index), with RON 5 billion more than in July 2017 when it was RON 21.8 billion, with an achievement rate of 112.6 percent of the receipts program, by RON 3 billion more than the level communicated by the Ministry of Finance.

The structure of the revenues

The state budget received RON 18.5 billion, which is RON 2.9 billion more than in the same period 2017, an achievement of 118.6 percent nominal index, respectively 112.5 percent ​​real index. 

Social insurance received RON 8.2 billion lei, with RON 2.1 billion more than in July 2017, as follows:

For National Health Insurance Fund, an amount of RON 3 billion was collected, an increase with RON 0.9 billion compared with same month of 2017. The degree of achievement of the program resulting from the budget law for 2018 is 115.4 percent.

Social Insurance Budget receipts rose by 31.6 percent nominal value – RON 5 billion in July 2018 compared to RON 3.8 billion in the similar period of 2017. Degree of achievement of the program resulting from the budget law for 2018 is 102 percent percent.
