Air France allows the use of electronic devices for the entire flight

As of February 2014, Air France passengers will be able to use their personal electronic devices on board at any time during the flight. The decision was implemented as a result of new regulations from the European Aviation Safety Society.

The European Aviation Safety Agency now permits the use of portable electronic devices (PED) in “flight mode” during all phases of the flight. Air France passengers will benefit from this new regulation and will be able to use their personal devices while the aircraft is taxiing, during takeoff, while cruising and on landing.

The use of equipment and accessories operating with Bluetooth and WIFI is not permitted however, and the PED should be turned off if operating conditions require.
