UniCredit Bank Romania appoints Antoaneta Curteanu as Vice-President of Directorate starting November 1st

The Supervisory Board of UniCredit Bank Romania approved the appointment of Antoanete Curteanu, starting November 1, 2019, as Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the bank and coordinator of the Retail Division.

Antoaneta Curteanu will begin to exercise her responsibilities after receiving the prior approval from the National Bank of Romania.

Currently Coordinator of the CIB and Private Banking Division and a member of the UniCredit Bulbank Directorate, Antoaneta Curteanu will replace Septimiu Postelnicu, who will take over as Director and General Manager within UniCredit Bulbank, Bulgaria.

The period in which he has held different positions within the Group and in which he has developed many successful teams gives him an in-depth knowledge of both our activity and the business environment in Romania”, said Răsvan Radu, CEO of UniCredit Bank.

Antoaneta Curteanu has more than 25 years of experience in the banking system, of which 18 within the UniCredit Group.

Septimiu Postelnicu, Coordinator of the Retail Division within UniCredit Bank for the last three years and, since May 2018, Vice President of the Board, has 21 years of experience in the field of financial services, in managerial positions in different business areas – both commercial and operational.
