Rōnin, the investment platform that supports entrepreneurs in various fields to develop and finance their business ideas, announces a long-term partnership with BRK, one of the largest brokerage firms in Romania, to support innovation and the investment environment in the country.

BRK Financial Group has extensive experience in the capital market, being at the same time the first and so far the only financial investment services company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Thus, through the partnership with Rōnin, the brokerage company BRK Financial Group aims to support the Romanian entrepreneurial ecosystem, by promoting financing alternatives for small and medium-sized companies

”BRK has permanently promoted the financing of Romanian companies by listing on the capital market and has mediated some of the most successful listings in the last period. By partnering with Rōnin, we want to support future successful listings. Crowdfunding solves, from our point of view, the financing of companies at the beginning of their road, those innovative companies, with feasible business projects, but whose previous performances do not allow them to aim at a listing and at the same time do not fall within the strict criteria of granting loans to companies,” said Monica Ivan, General Manager of BRK Financial Group.

Through the Rōnin platform, investors can participate in the capitalization of promising companies through investments with a higher degree of risk but which can generate very good returns. Subsequently, the promotion of these companies to the capital market will be able to represent the “liquidity event” expected by investors. We are convinced that, together with our partners in the Rōnin team, we can build a much more attractive incubator for a future capital market, with more interesting investment opportunities for investors and, therefore, with more liquidity,” added Monica Ivan.

Through the Rōnin platform launched in December 2021, the team behind the project aims to facilitate the connection between entrepreneurs and crowd-type investors and to allow anyone to become an investor with a minimum contribution of 100 euros to support their favorite project.

Thus, the Rōnin team selects companies that have potential, according to an independent evaluation grid, supports them in building the funding campaigns, and brings them in front of retail investors, who until now had no access to projects traditionally reserved for investment funds. With Rōnin’s help, everyone now has the opportunity to invest in startups and established companies, giving entrepreneurs access to the resources they need to launch and grow their business.

Softlead, the first company listed on Rōnin, is a B2B all-in-one platform, which uses Augmented Analytics to shortlist the best software solutions and technologies, using companies’ Digital DNA.

Softlead is currently developing the concept of the Digital DNA of a company, which is the basis for its digitalization decisions, as it provides valuable information on the need to replace or purchase a new technical solution, depending on organizational objectives, but also with the industry, the size and growth rate of the company.

The second startup listed by Rōnin, StockBinder, is a company that facilitates rapid integration between online stores, suppliers, and manufacturers, aiming for a new funding round to fully automate the process and support the company’s international expansion.

StockBinder, a unique product on the market, is a platform that connects online retailers with suppliers using matching algorithms to ensure a transparent overview across product prices and availability from all suppliers. StockBinder is a SaaS platform that uses Machine Learning to integrate the suppliers’ feeds of products directly and automatically into the online retailers’ offers. Based on the online retailers’ preferences, already using the platform, StockBinder can recommend its users’ new products to be listed online from their suppliers or even recommend new suppliers;
