Euroins România Asigurare-Reasigurare SA, the most important player in the Romanian insurance industry, announces new positive results in terms of the time required to process claims and prompt payment of claims in which are not recorded human casualties
On average, in Q1 2022, Euroins paid the claims in just 5 days, 25% faster than the payments in the last part of 2021.
This indicator has been steadily improving over the last year.
For example, in Q4 2021, Euroins Romania officially reported to the Financial Supervisory Authority that it paid damages on average in 6.8 days.
The current results show a significant evolution compared to the first part of last year, when, in Q2 2021, the average time for payment of car damages was 38 days.
“The fact that we continue to constantly improve our procedures and maintain good relations with all our contractual car services – the collaboration that is fast growing on national level, is a proof that we treat responsibly the commitments we have assumed, in the ongoing strategy of Euroins Romania. We have a vision of a sustainable and strong business, diversified into new and fresh insurance products that will hopefully bring insurance closer to Romanian hearts “, said Tanja Blatnik, CEO of Euroins Romania.
Euroins Romania also announces a significant increase in the volume of non-RCA insurance.
270% is the average advance in 2022 compared to 2021, with GWP close to 70 mil. Lei in first four months.
More and more Romanians have chosen Euroins for travel insurance and health insurance. Among most popular add ons to RCA are, so many times needed, roadside assistance and very popular simple product – CASCO Start.
The biggest increase is for the segment of travel insurance and roadside assistance, where we see in Q1 of 2022 – ten times an increase of policies compared to Q1 of 2021.
The CASCO Start product offered by Euroins had a higher demand by 800%, and on the health insurance segment the sales are doubled in the first part of 2022, compared to the similar period of last year.
“We have assumed that in the next period we will continue the process of streamlining all procedures and we are determined to follow the strategy of increasing the other important insurance products we offer Romanians, such as health insurance, accidents, property and liability insurance, travel and CASCO. We are really pround of the development of Euroins Romania and are thankful to our sales network and partner brokers, that are constantly offering our products to the clients”, said Tanja Blatnik, CEO of Euroins Romania.
The performance of Euroins Romania, in the first part of this year, comes as a result of the changes started in 2021, together with the increase of the team of experts, the digitalization of the company and the improvement of the customer experience in all services offered.
