In 2006, the firm registered a 34 percent increase in turnover compared to the previous year and a profit of EUR 13.5 million. This is the result of all Henkel Romania divisions – detergents and cleaning products, cosmetic products, commercial and professional adhesives and technologies.
In 2006 the most spectacular increase was registered by the commercial and professional adhesives division, with the representative brand of the division – Ceresit – consolidating its leading position on the construction materials market in Romania.
Within Henkel CEE, Henkel Romania was the third fastest-growing in 2006 (out of 30 countries) after Ukraine and Bulgaria but before Russia, which was fourth.
