INFORM LYKOS (member of AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS) announces the launch of the Digital Customer Onboarding Solution, which facilitates an efficient and personalized activation of Product and Services in online environments. Digitizing and automating the process of activating new accounts is of crucial importance for companies in the field of Banking, Telecom, Insurance, Utilities and Retail, as it facilitates the remote registration of new customers for the use of their services.
The National Bank of Greece, in collaboration with INFORM LYKOS, became the first bank to the Greek market launching the Digital Customer Onboarding Solution with the production of Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) Certificates, according to eIDAS process, as well as in line with local ANCOM (EETT) regulation, AML directives and Central Bank of Greece directions.
The National Bank of Greece, as part of its ongoing strategy of digital transformation, has announced the new innovative digital onboarding service that takes place through a Mobile Application, and is the first of its kind introduced on the Greek market offering such a complete Service which incorporated the QES. INFORM LYKOS as the partner, loyal to its principles of providing technologically advanced services, is a pioneer in specialized digital transformation and digital banking Solutions.
The Digital Customer Onboarding Solution is also available for Greek citizens living in other countries and offers the possibility to create a new bank account from their smart device, without the need to visit a branch. More precisely, through the NBG Mobile Banking application, every citizen can open a savings account, issue a debit card (VISA Debit or MasterCard Debit) and can obtain credentials for i-bank Internet & Mobile Banking.
The process is carried out entirely through the smartphone, the verification of the user’s identity is done through live video conference with the use of INFORM LYKOS Certified Agents, while the contract signature is made using Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) certificates. All security and compliance measures are taken in real time during the onboarding process that takes a couple of minutes, without affecting at all the unique offered Customer Experience.
