The luxury jewellery store chain, TEILOR, present in the Central and Eastern Europe region, launched the most complex store in the network in Palas mixed-use ensemble in Iași, under the TEILOR Orange Classic concept. The launch took place in an elegant and festive atmosphere, within a dedicated event, organized in partnership with Palas. The event was attended by over 150 guests from the business community.

After TEILOR announced, at the end of 2022, the opening in Westend Budapest of the largest store at that time in the network, now, the project in Palas complex becomes the most imposing TEILOR store both nationally and internationally. The recently opened store impresses with its generous surface of 160 square meters, but also with its spectacular height of almost six meters.

Located under the grandiose glazed dome of the Palas Atrium, the store attracts attention with its unique façade. The monogram of the brand, rendered in a unique interpretation, appears as a succession of decorative panels, with a three-dimensional effect.

“The TEILOR Iași store thus becomes the epitome of the Teilor Orange Classic concept, characterized by broad design gestures and evoked emotion, aiming to reflect durability and comfort, thus offering the perfect framework for an authentic interaction with the brand. To this end, it becomes the first store to offer TEILOR customers a unique experience, by incorporating a series of counseling areas, from the VIP area, to the lounge area, as well as the high-table counselling area, embedded in the functional composition of the store. At the same time, the translation of the concept into the imposing reality, accentuated by the height of the volume, sets a benchmark of constructive innovation and management in the retail area,” said Roxana Achim, CEO TEILOR Construct & Engineering.

In terms of design, the TEILOR store in Palas combines complex construction solutions, as well as a generous volume of noble materials, carefully inserted into the bright composition of the store sprinkled with specific orange accents.

What completes the perception of the store is the warm atmosphere, which reminds us of moments of celebration, relaxed elegance and natural comfort, rendered by the perfect symbiosis between architectural composition, operational lighting, architectural lighting and biophilic accents.

The compositional elevation, through the emotion evoked, makes the TEILOR Iași store set a new standard of excellence in luxury retail design in Romania.

The conceptual proposal of the TEILOR store in Palas was developed in collaboration with Edda Istanbul design studio and TEILOR Construct & Engineering, the latter being also the design & build integrator of the project.

“In the design of the Iași store, we aimed to emphasize the elements that characterize TEILOR and highlight the brand’s quarter-century history.  We wanted to incorporate the brand’s elements, spirit, and DNA into architectural features. We designed a striking facade consisting of TEILOR‘s ambigram to create a ‘Wow’ effect. Upon entering, we welcomed customers by reflecting TEILOR‘s characteristic features through elements such as color, texture and pattern. Additionally, we designed the forms in this store to be more fluid, creating a more feminine, user-friendly form typology. Our aim is to ensure that all visitors become part of an unforgettable experience that they will want to repeat again and again,” explained Eda Güney, Founder Edda Istanbul.

TEILOR owns over 65 luxury jewellery stores in Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary and the Czech Republic. The store chain continues its expansion both nationally and abroad, planning to open new stores in locations of strategic interest in the coming years. In addition, the brand also has a strong presence in the online environment through its eCommerce platforms.
