Turkey’s Digital Nomad Visa Platform is Online

With its vibrant cities and stunning coastline, Turkey, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, is now set to become a haven for digital nomads. To obtain a visa for Turkey, digital nomads can easily start the application process on the Pre-Registration for Digital Nomads platform, Digital Nomad GoTürkiye.

 

Once the requirements on this platform are completed, a “Digital Nomad Identification Certificate” will be issued. With the certificate received from the platform, those who have applied must continue the process at Turkish consulates and/or visa centers.

Who can apply and become a digital nomad in Turkey?

Citizens of France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland, Denmark, Greece, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Bulgaria, Romania, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, and Belarus, aged between 21 and 55 years.

To obtain a Digital Nomad Identification Certificate, you must upload the following documents after registering on the platform:

  • A travel document/passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Turkey
  • Higher education diploma or a substitute document for the diploma
  • Document proving that the applicant works as a Digital Nomad:
    • Contract if working for a company (excluding companies from Turkey) or
    • Work contract between the applicant and the company if they are self-employed (excluding companies from Turkey)
  • Biometric photo
  • Document proving that the applicant has a monthly income of 3,000 USD or an annual income of 36,000 USD
