The organizers of Neversea Festival have announced the first confirmed artists for the 2023 edition which will take place from 6 to 9 July 2023 in Constanta, on the already famous Neversea Beach. Among the names confirmed are internationally acclaimed artists such as Alok, Morten, Don Diablo, Salvatore Ganacci, Timmy Trumpet, or Sofi Tukker duo.

One of the most eccentric DJs in the festival line-up, SALVATORE GANACCI, returns to the Neversea main stage. In 2019, the artist made his presence strongly felt with his original show and promises to take festival fans on a carousel of thrills and adrenaline in 2023.

In 5 months on the Neversea main stage, fans will enjoy the coolest combination of Timmy Trumpet and the most powerful trumpet on a festival mainstage. The first wave of artists is completed by Alok, Don Diablo, Morten, SOFI TUKKER, Grasu XXL Live, Nicole Cherry, Rareș x Adi Istrate x Erika Isac, Spike Live and Ștefania, coming to the fifth edition of the biggest beach festival in Europe, which will take place from 6-9 July in Constanța, on Neversea beach.

THE WORLD’S MOST FOLLOWED DJ ON SOCIAL MEDIA TAKES TO THE NEVERSEA MAINSTAGE

For the first time on the main stage of Neversea festival will be ALOK, the world’s number 4 DJ. He is one of the artists who has managed to build an impressive career, is ranked number 4 in the annual DJ Mag rankings and has a huge community of fans around the world, with over 50 million followers on social media.

He is a philanthropist and is involved in climate change, environmental and indigenous community issues and is one of the most loved DJs in Brazil, and this was demonstrated once again at his end of year party in Fortaleza, Brazil. 1.2 million people celebrated the new year with Alok and his guests.

The Brazilian continues his 2023 journey through the world of dance music with the release of a new production entitled ,,Work With My Love”, on which he collaborated with Brit James Arthur. Alok’s tracks have over 3 billion streams on Spotify and will be heard at Neversea this summer.

MORTEN is considered one of the most highly-rated producers/DJs of the new wave, is of Danish origin and will hit the Neversea festival mainstage in July.

He experienced a tremendous rise thanks to his collaboration with David Guetta on the Future Rave project, a sound brand in the area of dance culture. 2019 was the year electronic music reinvented itself with the emergence of this project. In 2021, Morten scored his strongest new entry in the DJ Mag Top 100, directly at number 39.

Dutch DON DIABLO is one of the artists who doesn’t know the word ,,limit”, he is the artist who is said to live in the future. The Hexagon boss managed to sell out the world’s first NFT concert, ,,Destination Hexagonia” with a huge sum – $1.2 million, followed by the project ,,HΞXHIBIT III” – a digital collection that has correspondence in the real world. This digital work was sold to a museum that owns original works by great artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Don Diablo’s work was purchased for $1.2 million, the first time in history that a physical artwork has been attached to an NFT. In 2022, he had a special exhibition, ,,Endless Voyage by Don Diablo”, open at the Jasky Gallery in Amsterdam.

DON DIABLO was invited to participate in Stream to Regreen, an event organised by the United Nations Environment Program, together with Pope Francis, Angela Merkel (former Chancellor of Germany), Antonio Guterres (Secretary General of the United Nations), Gisele Bündchen (UNEP Goodwill Ambassador & Supermodel) and Dr. Jane Goodall (United Nations Messenger for Peace).

The Dutchman was invited to open the Venice International Art Biennale, alongside DRIFT in the first indoor event to be made with drones. On Spotify, Don Diablo has over 6.67 million hits per month. This summer, the artist returns to the main stage of the Neversea festival.

Just saying eccentric isn’t enough, because it’s almost impossible to describe his live appearances. SALVATORE GANACCI is that DJ who breaks away from the conventional. He’s released tracks he’s worked on with Sanjin and Major Lazer’s Jillionaire, and the official video for ,,Money in my mattress”, a production he released with Trinidad James, was deemed by MTV as ,,the weirdest thing to watch all day”.

He followed up by collaborating with Tujamo for “Jook It”, and in 2019 he released the Skrillex-owned Owsla label single ,,Horse”. Ganacci manages to appeal to audiences in a special way, the Swede’s live appearances have gone viral on social media platforms. Journalists from Billboard, Mixmag and New Musical Express have written editorials about Ganacci’s out-of-the-ordinary live sets.

American-born duo SOFI TUKKER take to the Neversea main stage for the first time. Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern are known all over the world for their productions on the themes of unity, empathy and freedom, themes that are also reflected in their chart hits, such as ‘Drinkee’, ‘Best Friend’ and ‘Purple Hat’. For the single ,,Drinkee” they were nominated for a Grammy Award and the album “Treehouse” was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

During the pandemic period when dance culture moved into livestreaming, SOFI TUKKER were the number two most watched artist of 2020, which was also the time they established a vibrant global fan community.

SOFI TUKKER worked with Alok and Inna for ,,It Don’t Matter”, a single that earned them the #27 spot on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, and has over 81 million plays on Spotify.

The collaboration with Gorgon City for the huge hit ,,House Arrest” showcased the underground side of the two SOFI TUKKER members. The track has entered the sets of big DJs from Armin van Buuren, Oliver Heldens, Tiësto, Kryder, EDX to Pete Tong and Alison Wonderland and has been a hit on radio stations worldwide.

Last April the duo released their second studio album, Wet Tennis. The title of this material is an acronym: When Everyone Tries to Evolve, Nothing Negative Is Safe and is based on positive feelings and feelings, beautiful energy, all of which are also found in the live appearances of the two members SOFI TUKKER.

TIMMY TRUMPET means madness on the mainstage and this summer returns to Neversea. He is the only DJ in the world who, in 2019, made history: he played music for 22 seconds in a weightless, zero-gravity state – he literally floated, in a programme run with the European Space Agency and the Germans from BigCityBeats.

Trumpet, Australian by birth, is the beautiful madman of the big-room sound, generating delirium on the mainstage with a combination of dynamic progressive house and the instrument he loves, the trumpet, which he has played since the age of 4.

He entered the Conservatorium in Sydney but was expelled for a prank, continued his studies at a public school and discovered his interest in dance music. He’s a guy with a surreal energy and that’s why he experimented and experimented until 2001, when he discovered the ideal combination: DJ-ing and trumpet.

At the end of 2019, Trumpet was actively involved in fundraising for victims of the devastating fires in Australia, had a sold-out live show at the Sydney Opera House. He has collaborated with everyone, released tracks with Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, NERVO, KSHMR, Steve Aoki.

The Neversea Mainstage will offer fans live concerts with big names in Romanian music: Grasu XXL, Nicole Cherry, Rareș x Adi Istrate x Erika Isac, Spike Live and Ștefania.
