More than 250 wines and sparkling wines, including new releases from wineries or exclusive wines, as well as information about local wine tourism are available at REVINO BUCHAREST WINE SHOW, which will take place from May 11th to 13th at the Novotel Hotel in Bucharest, from 12.00 to 20.00.

With a notable presence of winemakers and winery owners among the exhibitors, the event transcends its role as a traditional showcase, evolving into a dynamic forum for networking and engagement within the wine industry.

“Revino is all about people and their stories. Each time we host the event, we bring in new exhibitors and exciting surprises from wineries. Our goal is to showcase the true essence of Romanian wine, comparing it with international wines. We’ve been doing this for over 12 years now, and we’re passionate about sharing the beauty of Romanian wine with the world,” says Alina Iancu, the initiator of the Revino.ro and CrameRomania.ro projects.

In addition to the selection of premium wines from small and medium-sized wineries in Romania, which are part of Revino’s identity in promoting the Romanian wine, this year’s edition aims to discuss the importance of technology in the wine industry and quality materials that enhance the gastronomic experience, whether for connoisseurs or enthusiasts.

At this edition, attendees can learn more in a series of masterclasses from the types of barrels used by wineries and understanding the importance of technology in this process, to demonstrations of Airtender equipment for aerating wine and cocktails, and proper food preservation. Moreover, the significance of the quality of the glass from which the glasses are made will also be explored.

Already a tradition, REVINO BUCHAREST WINE SHOW will feature a gourmet area with aged cheeses, olive oil, specialty coffee, and bakery products, to enhance the tasting experience.

Wine Tourism in Romania

REVINO BUCHAREST WINE SHOW also emphasizes wine tourism, so each winery will have available both the updated map of wine tourism in the country made by CrameRomania.ro, and specific signage for visitors to understand the positioning of each winery in a geographical context. Romania’s wine map focuses on wineries that offer wine tourism, where over 80 wineries open their doors to tourists, 20 of which also offer accommodation, and for the rest, accommodation can be found nearby.
