The Caribbean Sea flavors and spices are brought to Bucharest with a takeaway Jamaican food service which means an unique gastronomical initiative in Romania and quite rare in Europe, too, called Jamal. The project is 100 percent Romanian and wants to cover an unexploited takeaway zone from the local market.
“Romanians love good food, and Jamal will surprise them with the spices diversity and Jamaican taste”, said Cristina Norocel, managing partner Jamal.
Jamaican cuisine includes a mixture of cooking techniques, flavors, spices and influences from the indigenous people on the island of Jamaica, and the Spanish, British, Africans, Indian and Chinese who have inhabited the island.
The takeaway Jamaican food restaurant offers all types of meat and sea fruits dishes, vegetarian products, children’s menus and also desserts. Some of the traditional Jamaican dishes are chicken, beef or vegetables patties, mango soup with shrimps or rice with red beans, as well as rum cake, sweet potatoes pudding with chestnut glaze and carrot juice.
