Sciccheria Ristorante Italiano announces its expansion in Bucharest by opening the second restaurant, Sciccheria Rosetti, in the city center, on Tudor Arghezi Street no. 4. The new restaurant welcomes its guests with an Italian menu with Sicilian influences, based on the same gastronomic principles with which the brand has accustomed its community: quality ingredients, curated from top producers in Italy and Romania, all cooked as naturally as possible, at low temperatures, to create tasty and healthy dishes.

The daily menu of the restaurant will include dishes such as the famous Spaghetti Carbonara, cooked according to the original recipe, or potato cream, leek and guanciale, and onion crumble, but also a new dish in the Sciccheria menu, designed especially for the dynamic area of the city – “pulled pork” with sauerkraut, mustard, honey, and pickled cucumbers.

In addition to the à la carte part, Sciccheria Rosetti will also benefit from selections suitable for breakfast and business lunch and takeaway options.

“We are in a vibrant residential area, so we have adapted to the dynamics and needs of our audience. Therefore, we have created menus for different times of the day, with dishes whose serving times and characteristics are in line with the style of consumers’ lives. So, whether we’re talking about an early breakfast, a limited-time business lunch, or an evening out with colleagues after the office, what remains constant at Sciccheria Rosetti and in all our group’s properties is the commitment our commitment to quality in products and services,” says Claudia Militello, co-owner of Sciccheria.

In addition to the dishes that guests are already used to, Sciccheria Rosetti will pamper its guests with homemade croissants with pistachio cream, ricotta or salmon bagel with prosciutto or egg and guacamole. In addition, the restaurant benefits from a generous menu of local and international wines, as well as cocktails and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Sciccheria Rosetti’s design was carried out together with PickTwo Studio, the design studio also responsible for the group’s first restaurant in Bucharest. The aesthetic style is urban and contemporary. The restaurant, located on the ground floor of the Arghezi 4 office building, has 56 seats inside and 40 seats on the covered terrace.

TV presenter Virgil Ianțu also joins Sciccheria Rosetti as a shareholder

“My connection with Sciccheria is very simple and concrete. After many experiences over time as a customer, this restaurant has given me a place to my taste: impeccably designed menu, service, as you rarely find today, and most importantly, relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, cool music for all ages. All this made me say <>, and because, in recent years, the desire to own a restaurant had sprouted in me. When the opportunity arose to join the Sciccheria project, Rosetti, I enthusiastically accepted. I am happy to team up with these partners, and I am confident in our success”, said Virgil Ianțu, Sciccheria Rosetti shareholder.

The investment in Sciccheria Rosetti was 500,000 euros. It was supported by the shareholders Claudia and Luca Militello, Andrei Iosif, and Virgil Ianțu, a nationally recognized television professional. The restaurant is the first HoReCa project in which the TV presenter is involved.

“We are delighted to have Virgil join the Sciccheria Rosetti team. He brings a fresh and energizing perspective on the industry that aligns perfectly with our enthusiasm and passion for hospitality. His presence on the project amplifies the creative atmosphere and our dedication to our customers. ”, added Claudia Militello, co-founder of Sciccheria.

Sciccheria Rosetti aims to continue the vision of Sciccheria Pipera

The first Sciccheria restaurant was opened in June 2022 on Pipera Boulevard in the Bucharest metropolitan area. Since the first months of its foundation, the restaurant has built a loyal, responsive community of guests enthusiastic about gastronomy. Thus, in the first year of operation, it generated 1.4 million euros in business.

For the guests, the owners have developed a series of special events, such as the In Vino Amici wine tastings or the four-hand dinner, which invited the chef Giuseppe Raciti, who brought the Zash restaurant from Italy, a Michelin star.

“Sciccheria Pipera was our first large-scale project in HoReCa, a restaurant that allowed us to implement our vision of gastronomy and hospitality. We are proud of the team and the community we have built, the public and private events we have successfully organized, and the memorable moments our guests have had with us. By expanding in the center of the Capital, we aim to bring the Sciccheria experience closer to the people of Bucharest and use all our expertise,” said Claudia Militello, co-founder of Sciccheria.
