The Museum of Immersive New Art – MINA, the first immersive space in Bucharest, will be opened on August 24, starting from 8:00 PM, at 2-4 George Constantinescu Street, featuring two debut performances: Gustave Klimt and a journey through the waters of Romania.

MINA redefines art through emerging technologies and brings immersive exhibitions to an industrial space. The former ICE FELIX computer factory becomes the largest new media art center in Romania and Southeast Europe. With over 2,500 square meters, the space will host immersive art projects in a multifunctional setting.

Gustav Klimt – The Immersive Show –  is a multimedia production featuring over 60 works from the renowned artist’s entire career, pieces displayed in museums worldwide. The selection of artworks forms a chronological journey through the artist’s various periods, offering a contemporary reinterpretation with animations that create an immersive audiovisual spectacle. Among them are “The Lady with the Fan,” one of the most valuable paintings sold at an auction in Europe, “The Kiss,” his most famous work and considered a national treasure of Austria, and “Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer,” known as the “Woman in Gold,” the most representative piece from Gustav Klimt’s Golden Period.

It is not only an art exhibition but also an immersive journey through Klimt’s masterpieces, with each piece meticulously animated and displayed in 360 degrees within a 7-meter-high space. This production is crafted by Romanian artists, the Aural Eye studio, and the musical producer Alexei Ţurcan.

The Subaquatic World – An Immersive Journey of Water – is an educational show suitable for all ages, with a significant sustainability component, providing visitors with a journey through the waters of Romania – from the Danube Delta and the Black Sea to the depths of the ocean. The project is also carried out by Romanian artists, through the Collider Visuals & Pixels Reality studio, and the musical producer, Costav Ivanov.
