Vestra, Romanian company with over 25 years experience in the utilities and automation equipment industry, consolidates its portfolio on the Romanian market by purchasing metrological stands, following an investment of over 300,000 EUR.
The autonomous metrology stand is used both for the verification of cold or hot water meters, as well as for checking the thermal energy used in the fiscal field (meters based on which consumption for end users is invoiced). It has the ability to measure debts of several liters per hour, offering, at the same time, extremely accurate data, compared to most of the ordinary installations that measure the debts of tens or hundreds of liters, their results being easily influenced by various factors. Also, the installation is fully automatic, and the verification operation is performed only with a minimum intervention. Thus, based on the measured data, the bulletins are issued automatically, taking over the entire logistical activity. Last but not least, the software system does not allow to change the results of the verification process, which ensures data accuracy and eliminates human errors.
“In the context of an effervescent evolution on the utilities and automation equipment market in recent years, as well as our growth estimates for 2023, investment plans aim to continue the development of our portfolio by contracting new projects, but also through investments focused on the purchase of equipment of automation for smart cities. In line with the company’s development strategy, we purchased four metrological verification stands that we located at the Vesta headquarters in Cătămărești-Deal, Botosani county. The purchased installation is automatic, the only intervention taking place only when mounting and dismantling the meters on the installation.” , says Vlad Iftime, Managing Partner Vestra.
The stands have been purchased from renowned manufacturers in Europe, whose innovative technology promises efficiency and accuracy of data. For example, with the help of a single stand can be checked simultaneously 10 meters with a diameter 15/20 cm or six meters with a diameter of 40/50 cm, while the classic solutions in the field can receive a maximum of five meters with a diameter of 15/20 cm or two with a diameter of 40/50 cm. Thus, for one month, a single installation can check about 1,000 cold, hot water and thermal energy meters, and its management is fully done by Vestra, through its staff.
Through the strategic positioning, but also by the complexity of the services and facilities offered, Vestra owns in the portfolio public utilities and heating companies throughout the country. Therefore, the company’s business strategy consists in providing SMART solutions, ensuring the efficiency of the implementation of public utility projects and intelligent metering. In addition, through the partnerships concluded, the Vestra offers customers the safety of the fact that the meter parks operate in the legal parameters, and the invoices issued by the public utility companies are based on correct measurements.
