UK citizens who will take short trips to countries in the European Union after Brexit will not need a visa, even in the case of a no deal divorce, according to a compromise agreed on Wednesday between the European Parliament and the European Council, AFP announced.
This exemption will be given if reciprocated by the British authorities and will be implemented in all EU states, expect Ireland, which has already signed an agreement with Britain.
This preliminary agrement must be confirmed through voting in a plenary session of the European Parliament and the European Council.
