L’Oréal Romania is donating more than 42.000 products to infectious disease hospitals across the country, more than 7.5 tones of hand purifying hydro-alcoholic gel to hospitals, pharmacies and food networks and is showing support to SMEs in its suppliers and distribution network. The measures taken by the company in Romania are part of a wider solidarity programme implemented by L’Oréal group across Europe to support the fight against coronavirus by all stakeholders.

The measures taken by L’Oréal Romania:
- Solidarity with first line medical staff facing the current situation: as it is important to help the medical staff these days facing with extreme working conditions, L’Oreal Romania will donate 42,800 products (hand lotions, shampoos and shower gels) to 10 hospitals across the country, 9 dedicated to infectious diseases treatment and one dedicated to hosting oncologic patients. The shipments are planned in the coming days;
- Solidarity with healthcare, pharmacy and food distribution staff: L’Oreal factories already started producing hand purifying hydro-alcoholic gel under La Roche Posay, Garnier and L’Oreal Paris L’Oreal Romania will donate to doctors, pharmacists and retailers 7.5 tones of hand purifying hydro-alcoholic gel. The shipment will reach Romania in the coming weeks;
- Solidarity with our suppliers: in these times it is important to help our small suppliers cope with the challenges they face. Thus, during the state of emergency period, their invoices will be paid immediately after they are received and processed, regardless the due date;
- Solidarity with the SMEs in our distribution network: some of the businesses most affected by confinement measures are salons and small cosmetic shops. We will postpone the collection of their process until they are officially allowed to reopen their businesses.
