Family holidays with the help of DOUGLAS and Hope and Homes for Children

DOUGLAS Romania continues to support vulnerable families this year through the Child Separation Prevention Program, developed by Hope and Homes for Children. The aim of the campaign is to help parents, through financial support, to improve the living conditions of their families, thus being able to keep their children with them and raise them safely.

For each Douglas Collection Star Makeup Palette and Douglas Collection Advent Calendar Beauty set sold between December 1st and December 31st Douglas will donate 10 lei to Hope and Homes for Children, within the limit of 50,000 lei. This campaign starts today, December 1st, and will run until the end of the month, both in the online store, douglas.ro, and in the more than 40 physical magazines of companies all over the country.

“Together with our partners from Hope and Homes for Children, for the second consecutive year, through the Feel the Magic campaign, we support children to stay with their families, both during the holidays and every day. A child’s place is with his family, where he is cared for, but above all loved and supported, and where he can develop physically and emotionally healthy. We want to bring light and joy on the faces of children and parents now for the holidays, but also for all the days they will spend together”, said Lavinia Ivas, DOUGLAS Romania CEO.

With this help, 10 children will not end up in placement centers but will stay with their families, safely, with financial and material support to help parents recover and be able to care for and protect their children at home, where they belong. This action is part of the local social responsibility strategy of DOUGLAS which aims to support the development of the community and especially the development of a healthy social and family environment.
