UniCredit Leasing launches GoGreen, a financial solution that encourages the purchase of electric and hybrid cars

UniCredit Leasing launches a new financing solution in euro for the purchase through financial leasing of 100% electric or hybrid vehicles, offering to all those interested benefits of structure and price, respectively: an advance payment of only 5% of the purchase value and a variable interest rate composed of Euribor per 3 months plus a promotional margin starting from 2.99%. Thus, GoGreen is the financial solution that makes the purchase of an emission-free or low-emission car affordable, given the reduced initial financial effort and attractive interest rate.

The GoGreen financing period can vary from one to five years, and the residual value is 1%. For these purchases, customers can benefit, under the conditions provided by current legislation, from the advantages available through the RABLA 2022 Programs (Classic and Plus).

Currently, the market for electric and hybrid cars in the EU is booming. According to the Financial Times, 176,000 fully electric vehicles were sold in Western Europe in December 2021, a record high, and and more than 6% higher than the number sold in December 2020. According to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, Europeans prefer electric or hybrid cars, Greece holding the record for the purchase of such vehicles. Romania is also in this top, registering last year an increase of over 120% compared to 2020 for electric cars, above the European Union average. In 2021, the electric car market in Romania doubled, reaching 15.5% of the total new cars’ sales, according to APIA.

According to public information, Romania plans to remove from traffic by 2025 no less than 250,000 vehicles older than 15 years, for this purpose being adopted the Rabla 2022 programs (CLASSIC AND PLUS). Through GoGreen UniCredit Leasing aims to contribute to the efforts that stimulate the renewal of the national car fleet and to encourage the purchase and use of vehicles with low environmental impact.
