Romanian Software, one of the leaders in the software market in the human resources field, announces the results of the study: “New HR: How do Romanian companies digitize HR processes?”

The aim of this study was to identify where the digitization of HR processes is heading in 2022. Several topics of interest were analysed: the level of adoption of HR technologies, the benefits brought, the challenges encountered or the reasons why Romanian companies adopt digital HR solutions.

“The benefits of HR software contribute not only to the success of HR departments, but also to the success of the business as a whole.” says Victor Dragomirescu, CEO of Romanian Software.

The pandemic has led to the creation of new working models and technologies have had a significant impact on the way people communicate, work and collaborate. In this context, a third of companies have adopted digital HR solutions to support hybrid and remote working. Of the companies surveyed, 66% say they will be working hybrid and only 7.8% will have a 100% remote working model during 2022.

”At the end of the COVID crisis, we wanted to know if the perceptions of digitalization had changed among Romanian companies. As top providers of solutions for the digitalization of human resources processes, we are happy to contribute to the modernization of how employees work. By conducting this study, we want to help raise awareness that digitalization is an opportunity and can help any business, regardless of size.” says Victor Dragomirescu, CEO of Romanian Software.

Employee and Document Management are the most important digital HR solutions in 2022.

For HR specialists, document management (53.1%) and employee management (42.2%) are currently sought-after and indispensable applications. However, the development of specialized applications for extracting valuable data made the analytics software reach the top 3 solutions desired by 43% of respondents in 2022.

What did the study reveal?

The last two years have shown that HR process software is an indispensable tool for businesses, regardless of the number of employees, and the pandemic has been a precursor to the digitization of many small companies.

  • 30% of companies have adopted new HR solutions in the last 2 years to support hybrid and remote working.
  • 52% of companies consider digitization of processes their highest priority.
  • 66% of companies will be working hybrid in 2022, due to high demand among employees.
  • 42.2% of HR professionals plan to expand the software solutions they use in their company in 2022.
