Silvestri Orchestra, under the baton of the Romanian conductor Tiberiu Soare (in picture), will give an extraordinary New Year’s Eve concert “The Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi and Astor Piazzolla on January 4, 2014 at Odeon Theatre. At this event, violinist Razvan Stoica and pianist Andreea Stoica will enchant the audience with the mastery of their instruments in a musical program consisting of two continents and two fascinating music genres: classical music and tango.
“The seasons, “the times of the year” … I have always liked to search the sense in depth, regardless the words or the things, questioning them until the transparency. That is why, The Time, this eternal mirror, has two visions: Venetian School of Late Baroque (Vivaldi) and 20th century Buenos Aires, described so beautiful by Borges (Piazzolla). The music represents an exercise of liberty, making it impossible for me to avoid the association between Francesco Guardi and Borges’s characters. The image and the word, both surprised in sounds. It is worth trying” says Tiberiu Soare about this performance.
Tickets can be purchased from the box office of the Odeon Theatre for RON 31.80 and RON 15.90. More about this performance, here.
