Victor Ponta announced the new Government on Monday, after several negotiations with UDMR to join the USD coalition.
“Alongside the three parties, PSD, UNPR and PC, UDMR and PP-DD joined to support the government. In the future we will dialogue on concrete projects”, Ponta said at the beginning of the press conference.
Victor Ponta and Kelemen Hunor signed on Monday the agreement that would allow UDMR to join the governing coalition. In return for UDMR’s cooperation, USD promises to solve the problem of minority cultural rights, through the use of adequate legislation.
